چکیده

Introduction: In web robot detection it is important is to find features that are common characteristics of diverse robots, in order to differentiate between them and humans. Existing approaches employ fairly simple features (e.g. empty referrer field, interval between successive requests), which often fail to reflect web robots' behaviour accurately. False alarms may therefore occur unacceptably often request patterns. In this paper we propose a fresh approach that expresses the behaviour of interactive users and various web robots in terms of a sequence of request types, called request patterns. Botnet is most widespread and occurs commonly in today's cyber attacks, resulting in serious threats to our network assets and organization's properties. Botnets are collections of compromised computers (Bots) which are remotely controlled by its originator (BotMaster) under a commonCommand-andControl (C&C) infrastructure. They are used to distribute commands to the Bots for malicious activities such as distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, spam Research Paper—Computer Science & Appliceation

A density based clustering approach to distinguish between web robot and human requests to a web server

Today world's dependence on the Internet and the emerging of Web 2.0 applications is significantly increasing the requirement of web robots crawling the sites to support services and technologies. Regardless of the advantages of robots, they may occupy the bandwidth and reduce the performance of web servers. Despite a variety of researches, there is no accurate method for classifying huge data ...

Image flip CAPTCHA

The massive and automated access to Web resources through robots has made it essential for Web service providers to make some conclusion about whether the "user" is a human or a robot. A Human Interaction Proof (HIP) like Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart (CAPTCHA) offers a way to make such a distinction. CAPTCHA is a reverse Turing test used by Web serv...

A Novel Technique for Steganography Method Based on Improved Genetic Algorithm Optimization in Spatial Domain

This paper devotes itself to the study of secret message delivery using cover image and introduces a novel steganographic technique based on genetic algorithm to find a near-optimum structure for the pair-wise least-significant-bit (LSB) matching scheme. A survey of the related literatures shows that the LSB matching method developed by Mielikainen, employs a binary function to reduce the numbe...

A Review of Malware Detection Based on Pattern Matching Technique

Malware detection developer faced a problem for a generation of new signature of malware code. A very famous and recognized technique is pattern based malware code detection technique. This leads to the evasion of signatures that are built based on the code syntax. In this paper, we discuss some well known method of malware detection based on semantic feature extraction technique. In current de...

A procedure for Web Service Selection Using WS-Policy Semantic Matching

In general, Policy-based approaches play an important role in the management of web services, for instance, in the choice of semantic web service and quality of services (QoS) in particular. The present research work illustrates a procedure for the web service selection among functionality similar web services based on WS-Policy semantic matching. In this study, the procedure of WS-Policy publi...
